Unusual format, eh?
I’m trying something new here.
About six weeks from now, I should be done with this story if I don’t want to awkwardly interrupt it for the obligatory Winter break. But this is an eight-pager. I could just publish it twice a week or shorten it, but I’ve done all that before. So instead, I’ve re-edited the story into six chunks of varying lengths. After all, what’s the point of a fixed page format online, right? It’s a little more work for me, but it allows me to experiment a little and see how the different rhythm works out for us.
And maybe I’ll stick to it after this, making the online experience even more different from the printed version. (Should one of those ever emerge.)
