Thinking of Japan

It’s always difficult to make a comic about a topical catastrophe. A good one, anyway. One that also works as a comic. I didn’t even want to do this. It is kinda late, too, isn’t it?

But I do have a character who thinks he’s Japanese. I kind of owe it to him to at least mention it. This is his story. It works for me because it’s more about Gaijin than about Japan.

If it helps inspire you to donate something for disaster relief, all the better! I’m sure they can still use help. Comics for Japan, a webcomic-based project, recommends Second harvest Japan or the Red Cross.

      Thanks!

The thing about Godzilla, though: It’s pretty hard to unthink once you’re there…
